PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. (a) In addition to being compensated at the prevailing contractual wage rate for the time worked in lieu of a break or rest periods, the employee shall receive an additional sum equal to the amount of lost break or rest periods to a maximum of thirty (30) minutes per shift.

PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. Employees who cannot get rest periods or meal breaks shall be paid five and one-half (5 1/2) hours worked - six (6) hours pay; six (6) hours worked - six and one-half (6 1/2) hours pay; seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours worked - eight (8) hours pay; eight (8) hours worked - eight and one-half (8 1/2) hours pay. There shall be no deliberate bankrolling of purported violations of this clause by any employee.

PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. ‌ Should an employee, as a result of working through their breaks or meal period, that day, shall have those hours paid at the applicable overtime rate. Note: Total break time is one (1) hr twenty (20) minutes. Operator has a choice of either two (2) x thirty (30) minute and one (1) x twenty (20) minute break or four (4) x twenty (20) minute breaks.
