Payment for Courses. The Employer agrees to pay all wages and costs of any upgrading and/or Courses that are required to be taken by any employee. Upon prior approval and successful completion of an elective Course, employees shall be reimbursed fifty (50%) percent minimum of the Course cost where such Course enhances the employee’s job. In addition, employees shall receive pay for any lost wages. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Payment for Courses. 1. Upon successful completion of an approved course, the employee must submit documentation of that fact to the Superintendent of Schools or designee before payment/reimbursement may be made, see Appendix F: RSU 26 Course Approval Form.

Payment for Courses. 7.2.1 Effective M y 1,2014 unit members shall receive $65 per college credit hour for any college credits earned prior to date of hire with the District, up a to a maximum of 120 credit hours. Additionally, unit members may receive $65 per credit hour for college courses taken after the date of hire with the District, with approval of the Superintendent. Such approval should be received prior to commencement of the college course. Unit members hired prior to M y 1,2014 shall receive $45 per college credit hour for all college courses earned prior to January 1,2014.
