Pay While on Leave. The employee may use accrued leave or the employer may require an employee to use accrued leave. The City shall not require an employee to use accrued leave if use of leave jeopardizes a short or long term disability benefit. An employee with a planned vacation or other absence may retain up to two (2) weeks of paid vacation or other leave.
