PATROL WORK SCHEDULE. 1. Patrol staff shall work four (4) consecutive days of work, each consisting of eleven (11) consecutive hours of work. Each work day shall include a 30 minute paid lunch and appropriate breaks. The four (4) day work week will be followed by four (4) consecutive days off. Patrol staff working the patrol schedule will attend six (6) mandatory eleven (11) hour training days per year, in addition to their regularly scheduled work days. These training days will be assigned based on the agency's needs. Four (4) of the six (6) training days will not fall on the Patrol staff’s calendar weekend and will be scheduled on the Patrol staff’s last regularly scheduled day off. The four (4) scheduled days off will be scheduled 30 days in advance. The remaining two (2) training days will be scheduled based on the agencies needs and are exempt from the restrictions listed above. Patrol and Metro shifts may be adjusted, forward or backwards, by two hours to accommodate vacation and training demands. Patrol staff schedules will be adjusted for the next work week by the end of their last scheduled shift prior to their days off. Any changes made after that time will be compensated as overtime if worked in addition to the Patrol staff’s eleven (11) hours shift or the Patrol staff can choose to adjust their shift as scheduled in lieu of working any additional overtime hours. EXEMPTION: To cover sick leave called in on the day of the affected shift, Patrol staff will be compensated at the overtime rate for any hours worked in excess of their scheduled eleven
PATROL WORK SCHEDULE. The department shall continue a 5-3 work schedule which shall consist of five (5) consecutive days of duty, nine (9) hours and ten (10) minutes per day, followed by three (3) consecutive days off with an eight (8) day rotation period. The work period shall not exceed the maximum allowable work period under the Fair Labor Standards Act applicable to police officers.

XXXXXX SCHEDULE: Effective January 1, 2008 a new twelve (12) hour work schedule shall be implemented (Xxxxxx Schedule) which refers to a twelve hour workday schedule which encompasses a fourteen (14) day cycle. The schedule will include a rotation of two (2) days on-duty, two (2) days off-duty, three (3) days on-duty, two (2) days off-duty, two (2) days on-duty, and three (3) days off-duty. The cycle will begin on a Sunday and end on a Saturday fourteen (14) days later, at which time it will repeat its cycle. The hours scheduled for duty during any given twenty-four (24) hour period will be from 7:00 a.m. EDT to 7:00 p.m. EDT and from 7:00 p.m. EDT to 7:00

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • SCHEDULE OF WORK FIRST PARTY’S proposed schedule for the various services required will be set forth in Exhibit A-1. A4. CHANGES IN WORK -- EXTRA WORK In addition to services described in Section A1, the parties may from time to time agree in writing that FIRST PARTY, for additional compensation, shall perform additional services including but not limited to: • Change in the services because of changes in scope of the work. • Additional tasks not specified herein as required by the CITY. The CITY and FIRST PARTY shall agree in writing to any changes in compensation and/or changes in FIRST PARTY’s services before the commencement of any work. If FIRST PARTY deems work he/she has been directed to perform is beyond the scope of this agreement and constitutes extra work, FIRST PARTY shall immediately inform the CITY in writing of the fact. The CITY shall make a determination as to whether such work is in fact beyond the scope of this agreement and constitutes extra work. In the event that the CITY determines that such work does constitute extra work, it shall provide compensation to the FIRST PARTY in accordance with an agreed cost that is fair and equitable. This cost will be mutually agreed upon by the CITY and FIRST PARTY. A supplemental agreement providing for such compensation for extra work shall be negotiated between the CITY and the FIRST PARTY. Such supplemental agreement shall be executed by the FIRST PARTY and may be approved by the City Manager upon recommendation of the Department Head.

  • Notice of Work Schedules (a) Work schedules for regular employees shall be posted at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the starting day of a new schedule.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:
