Reduction of Teaching Time A teacher who, in the opinion of a duly qualified medical practitioner, should reduce teaching time due to sickness, Page Provincial Collective BargainingAgreement and who is able to teach a fraction of regular teaching time, is entitled to receive salary under this Article for that portion of time the teacher is unable to teach subject to the follow- ing conditions: A plan for such a reduction that meets the needs of the teacher and the board of education shall be determined by mutual agreement between the teacher and the board of education. Should a mutually agreeable plan not be devised, the teacher has the option to continue teaching in accordance with the contract of employment or to be paid full sick leave benefits in accordance with this Article. There shall be periodic reviews of the partial sick leave arrangement as initiated by the teacher or the board of education.
