Part-Time Status. Nurses who are regularly scheduled to work on a continuing basis less than forty (40) hours per week or less than seventy-two (72) hours in a fourteen (14) day period and who have successfully completed the required probationary period.

Part-Time Status. A part-time employee is an employee who works less than full-time and does not occupy a regular full-time position.
Part-Time Status. Whether or not a termination of employment occurs is determined based upon all facts and circumstances. However, in the event that services provided by an Employee are insignificant, a Separation from Service will be deemed to have occurred. For purposes of Section 409A, if an Employee is providing services to the Company at a rate that is at least equal to 20% of the services rendered, on average, during the immediately preceding 3 full calendar years of employment (or such lesser period), and the annual compensation for such services is at least 20% of the average annual compensation earned during the final 3 full calendar years of employment (or such lesser period), no termination will be deemed to have occurred since such services are not insignificant.

An employee returning to part- time status shall then be afforded all benefits due a part-time employee after sixty (60) days. Part-Time Status. On-call faculty who are either part-time or adjunct (including retired faculty teaching under the provision of Article XIV.J) and who work an assigned load equal to or less than three-fifths (3/5) of a full load in the division(s) where they work. All part-time status faculty other than Student Success Specialists and Academic Success Specialists are hired for a semester or less at a time. Non-adjunct part-time status faculty member employment is at-will. Termination of a part-time non-adjunct faculty member cannot be challenged/disputed under the terms of this Agreement.
