Common use of Part-Time Benefits Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Benefits. No benefits shall be afforded part-time employees, with the exception of entrance into the DAC Pension Plan. Plan Rules require admittance to the plan of any employee meeting the hourly work requirement of 1000 hours in any year of employment with the employer. Notwithstanding the terms of this Section, benefits will be given to permanent part- time van drivers in the form of personal days as provided in Article 8, Section 7, and long-term disability insurance as provided in Article 15, Section 4.
