Parks and Recreation Department. A) Subject to B1.03 B), persons whose regular jobs are not in the Parks and Recreation Department bargaining unit, except students working for the Parks and Recreation Department under volunteer programs, shall not work on any jobs which are included in the bargaining unit, except for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, or in emergencies when regular employees are not available.

Parks and Recreation Department. When a temporary vacancy occurs within the Parks and Facilities operations, it will be posted throughout the Department. Applicants working in the Operation in which the vacancy has occurred will be given first consideration for the position, and seniority shall govern providing the applicant has the necessary skill, ability and competence.
