Parents and Guardians. Parents and guardians play an important role in the education of their children and have a responsibility to support the efforts of College staff in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. Parents and guardians fulfill their role when they:  show an active interest in their child’s school work and progress;  communicate regularly with the College;  show that they are familiar with the Code of Conduct and College rules;  encourage and assist their child in following the rules of behaviour; and  assist College staff in dealing with disciplinary issues involving their child.

Parents and Guardians. Due to the large number of users per ice time, the expectations below elaborate the importance of regulating the conduct of the parent/guardians of the users. Expectations – Parents and Guardians • Parents/Guardians are permitted into the facility to check in and assist with equipment only. Once the equipment is on, parents must leave the facility. • When picking up their children, parents must not enter the facility until 5 minutes before the end of the scheduled ice time. If parents/guardians arrive early, they must remain outside the building until the permitted entrance time. • To ensure all guidelines are adhere to, AMP Hockey Academy must have responsible representatives overseeing the above expectations to ensure they are met. Scope – Equipment Due to the large amount of equipment, expectations have been set to ensure it is cleaned and disinfected to ensure the safety of the users.   • Employee Investigations (a) The Parties agree that in certain situations it may be in the best interest of both clients and employees that employees be reassigned or removed from all job sites during an investigation of conduct.
