Parental Deferral. Parenting Leaves shall result in an automatic one-year deferral of consideration for an appointment with tenure. This deferral does not preclude the academic staff member from applying for an appointment with tenure according to the original timelines, applying for early consideration, or being eligible for subsequent deferrals.
