Paid Lunch Period. 9-1 All eight- (8) hour regular full-time Employees who report to work at 2 p.m. or after but prior to 5 a.m. will be given a 30-minute paid duty-free lunch period. All eight- (8) hour regular full-time Employees whose regular work day falls on a Saturday or Sunday will receive a 30-minute paid lunch period for those days.

Paid Lunch Period. 9-1 All police officers will be given a 30-minute paid lunch period in an eight- (8) or ten- (10) hour Work Day, subject to calls for service and as work load permits.
Paid Lunch Period. Employees working a nine-eighty (9/80) or four-forty (4/40) flex schedule shall receive a paid lunch period of not less than one- half (½) hour. These are the only employees who will receive a paid lunch period.

The present practices of agencies, departments or organizational units with respect to rest periods during the regular workday shall be continued, provided that each employee shall be allowed two (2) rest periods with pay of fifteen (15) minutes during each regular workday.   • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.
