Common use of Paid Bereavement Leave Clause in Contracts

Paid Bereavement Leave. a) An employee shall be granted a maximum of three (3) regularly scheduled consecutive work days leave, without loss of pay or benefits, in the case of death of a parent, spouse, common law spouse, brother, sister, child, step child, xxxxxx child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, spouse's grandparent, grandparent, grandchild or fiancée.

Paid Bereavement Leave. (a) An employee Employee shall be granted a maximum of three up to five (35) regularly scheduled consecutive work days leave, without loss of pay or benefits, salary in the case of the death or serious illness of a parentthe Employee's father, mother, step-father, step-mother, husband, wife, common-law spouse, common law spouseson, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, brother, sister, childstep-brother, step child, xxxxxx child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, step- sister-in-law, brother-in-law, spouse's grandparent, grandparent, grandchild or fiancée.

Paid Bereavement Leave. a) An employee shall be granted a maximum of three five (35) regularly scheduled consecutive work days days’ leave, without loss of pay or benefits, benefits in the case of death of a parentan immediate family member, which includes spouse, common law spouse, brother, sister, child, step child, xxxxxx childchildren (stepchildren), mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, spouse's grandparent, grandparent, grandchild or fiancéefather and anyone for whom the employee is legally responsible.

Paid Bereavement Leave. (a) An employee Employee shall be granted a maximum of three bereavement leave for five (35) regularly scheduled consecutive work working days, provided the days leaveare taken within seven (7) days of the death, without loss of pay or benefits, and benefits in the case of the death of a parent, spouse, common the following members of their immediate family: - spouse and common-law spouse, brother, sister, child, step child- parent or step-parent (parent includes guardian, xxxxxx parent and any person(s) standing in (loco parentis), - child or step-child, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, spouse's grandparent, grandparent, grandchild or fiancée.
