Owner Notice. Pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 572, Buyer is hereby advised as follows: Persons or companies furnishing labor or materials for the improvement of real property may enforce a lien upon the improved property if they are not paid for their contributions, even if the parties have no direct contractual relationship with the Buyer. The state construction registry provides a listing of all persons or companies furnishing labor or materials who have posted a lien or who may post a lien upon the improved property. The state construction registry, called the Mechanic’s Notice and Lien Registry, can be found at xxx.xxx.xxxx.xxx/xxxx, and the toll-free telephone number for this state construction registry is 000-000-0000.

Owner Notice. Upon Owner’s determination that Handover has been achieved, Owner shall provide notice thereof to Major Vendor and Handover shall be effective as of the date of Major Vendor’s notice. If Owner fails to provide timely notice of acceptance or rejection in accordance with Section 7.1, Handover shall be deemed to have occurred on the day after the expiration of the applicable notice period and the Handover Date shall be the date of Major Vendor’s notice.

  • STOP WORK NOTICE The City may issue an immediate Stop Work Notice in the event the Contractor is observed performing in a manner that is in violation of Federal, State, or local guidelines, or in a manner that is determined by the City to be unsafe to either life or property. Tenant’s failure to deliver such statement within such time shall be conclusive upon Tenant that: (i) this Lease is in full force and effect and has not been modified except as Landlord may represent; (ii) not more than one (1) month’s Rent has been paid in advance; (iii) there are no defaults by Landlord; (iv) notices to Tenant shall be sent to Tenant’s Address as set forth in Article 1 of this Lease; and (v) that all other statements contained in such estoppel are true and correct. Notwithstanding the presumptions of this Article, Tenant shall not be relieved of its obligation to deliver said statement.

  • CAFA Notice Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1715, not later than ten (10) days after the Agreement is filed with the Court, the Settlement Administrator shall cause to be served upon the Attorneys General of each U.S. State in which Settlement Class members reside, the Attorney General of the United States, and other required government officials, notice of the proposed settlement as required by law, subject to Paragraph 5.1 below.
