Owner Controlled Insurance Program. (OCIP); The Owner has elected to implement an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). Refer to the Project Insurance specification Section 00 73 16 for additional requirements. In addition, the Construction Manager will be required to provide the following additional insurance coverages:
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. Owner shall furnish for the benefit of the Project, the Site, and all Persons performing Work, [Workers’ Compensation], General Liability, Excess Liability, Builders Risk, [Installation Floater], Pollution Liability insurance, and [ ] through an Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (an “OCIP”), subject to the coverages and according to the limits set forth in Exhibit P. Contractor and Subcontractors shall furnish and keep in force all other insurance required of them in Exhibit P. All Persons covered by the OCIP shall comply with the administrative and reporting requirements set forth in Exhibit P. [Optional Section – discussion point]
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. The Owner has established an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). To the extent required by the Owner, Contractor shall fully participate in and comply with all requirements of the OCIP. A copy of the OCIP Manual is attached hereto as Exhibit C and incorporated herein by reference. However, if the OCIP is not used, Contractor agrees to meet the requirements for Insurance coverage referenced in Section 19.03. A copy of the Construction Safety and Health Guidelines is attached hereto as Exhibit D and incorporated herein by reference.
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. The Owner has elected to implement an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) that will provide Workers’ Compensation, Employer’s Liability, Commercial General Liability, Excess Liability and Builders’ Risk insurance for Contractors and Subcontractors of every tier who have been properly enrolled and are providing direct labor to the Project. A general summary of coverage provided by the OCIP is included in the MSCAA OCIP Manual, (hereinafter called the Manual), a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement and should be attached to and incorporated in every subcontract. All terms and conditions of Exhibit C will apply during the term of the contract. The Owner agrees to pay all premiums associated with the OCIP. While the OCIP provides uniform coverages and reasonable limits, the OCIP is not intended to meet all the insurance needs of the Contractor and eligible Subcontractors who have been properly enrolled. In addition to any insurance provided by Owner, the Contractor and all Subcontractors working on the Project will be responsible for providing certain insurance as specified in paragraph C.2. Contractors and eligible Subcontractors should discuss the OCIP with their insurance agent or consultant to assure that other proper coverages are maintained. Contractor and eligible Subcontractors enrolled in the OCIP agree that the insurance company policy limits of liability, coverage terms and conditions shall determine the scope of coverage provided by the OCIP.
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. The term “Owner Controlled Insurance Program” or “OCIP” means a project specific insurance program initiated and administered by the Judicial Council, during the Construction Phase, to provide any or all of the insurance requirements that will insure the interest and activities of the Design Build Entity, any of its subcontractor(s) or their sub- subcontractor(s) performing work at or incidental to the Project site. The OCIP applicable to the Project is included in the Performance Criteria Documents and is incorporated by reference into these General Conditions.
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. 15.1.1 The Owner, at its expense, has implemented an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (“OCIP”) to furnish certain insurance coverage’s with respect to on-Site activities. The OCIP will be for the benefit of the Owner and Contractor and Subcontractors of all tiers (unless specifically excluded) who have on-Site employees. Such coverage applies only to Work performed under the Contract Documents at the Site. The OCIP shall not include, and the Owner shall not be responsible for providing, any insurance coverage’s other than those specifically identified in the OCIP Manual (described in Section 15.1.2 below). In addition, the first $25,000 of each loss or damage covered under the Builder’s Risk Insurance policy, or uninsured losses, shall be paid for by the responsible Contractor or Subcontractor. The Builder’s Risk insurance provided by Owner also does not cover loss of, or damage to, any tools, implements, equipment, scaffolds, formwork, machinery, cranes, consumables, office trailers, tool sheds, temporary structures or anything else which is not intended to become a permanent part of the finished Project. The Contractor and eligible Subcontractors must provide their own insurance for off-Site activities and automobile liability pursuant to the OCIP Manual and the costs of such insurance for Contractor shall be a Cost of the Work. To the extent Contractor and or any Subcontractor becomes ineligible for the OCIP or is no longer covered by the OCIP, Contractor and such Subcontractor shall provide all required insurance under the OCIP Manual as a Cost of the Work.
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. (OCIP); Owner has elected to enroll the Project in the University of Texas System Rolling Owner’s Controlled Insurance Program (“ROCIP” or “OCIP”). In addition to the requirements set forth herein, Design/Build Contractor shall adhere to the OCIP requirements set forth in the UTUGCs and Owner’s Specifications 00 73 16, Project Insurance (OCIP) and 00 35 23, Project Safety (OCIP). In addition, the Design/Build Contractor will be required to provide the following additional insurance coverages:
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. The following coverage shall be provided by the Borrower for all enrolled parties. Coverage shall include Borrower as an additional insured on the general liability and excess liability policies. If applicable, the Workers Compensation/Employers Liability policy shall also cover the Borrower.
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. Owner, through its Owner Controlled Insurance Program ("OCIP"), will provide at its expense (which shall not be part of the Cost of the Work) certain insurance coverages for Contractor and certain Subcontractors, after completion of the enrollment process for Contractor and eligible Subcontractors. In addition to any insurance provided by Owner, Contractor shall be responsible for providing certain insurance as specified below.
Owner Controlled Insurance Program. Owners will provide Service Provider with Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Commercial General Liability Insurance and Excess Liability Insurance for Services performed on-Site through its Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (“OCIP”). If at any time the OCIP is not maintained, Service Provider will be responsible for maintaining coverage identical to the coverage listed in Section 24.1.
