Overtime Time and one. half (1-1/2) the employee's regular hourly rate of pay 6 shall be paid for work under any of the following conditions, but compensation shall not 7 be paid twice for the same hours. 8 A. When scheduled to work five (5) days a week: 9 1. All authorized work performed in excess of eight (8) hours in any 10 workday. 11 2. All authorized work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any 12 work week. 13 3. All work performed on employee's sixth (6th) day shall be 14 paid for at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) and the seventh (7th) day at double-time 15 rate, provided the employee has worked such overtime on the sixth (6th) day as was 16 offered to him or her for that day. 17 B. When scheduled to work four (4) days a week: 18 1. All authorized work performed in excess of ten (10) hours in any 20 2. All authorized work performed in excess of forty (40) hours in any 21 work week. 22 3. All work performed on employee's fifth (5th) day shall be paid for at 23 the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) and the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) days at the 24 double-time rate, provided that the double-time rate shall be paid only when the 25 employee has worked such overtime on the fifth (5th) day as was offered to him or her 26 on that day. If an employee declines to work on the fifth (5th) day, the sixth (6th) day 27 shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) and the seventh (7th) day at the 28 double-time rate. 29 4. Overtime worked shall be calculated in accordance with the uniform 30 time charging provisions of Article 14.

29 26 4. Overtime worked shall be calculated in accordance with the uniform 30 27 time charging provisions of Article 14.
