Overtime Schedule. A. OVERTIME PAY Any person, with permission from his/her immediate supervisor, who works in excess of forty (40) hours per week shall be paid at a rate of one and one-half times his/her regular hourly rate for each hour he/she worked overtime hours. An employee called in for overtime shall be guaranteed at least two (2) hours pay at the overtime rate.
Overtime Schedule. The City shall not schedule employees outside normal work hours solely for the purpose of avoiding the payment of overtime. The City reserves the right to alter work schedules and reporting times of employees to provide sufficient qualified and capable employees to meet emergencies or to perform duties which cannot reasonably be performed during the normal working hours. Any pre-scheduled overtime shall be scheduled by using the current call in-list. Once manpower needs are filled, the next call-in event will start with the next person on the list.

Overtime shall first be offered to the most senior employee within the building or classification where the overtime is needed. If the most senior employee refuses the overtime, then the work will be offered to the next most senior employee and so on until the overtime rotation list, comprised of all employees wishing overtime in order of seniority, has been completed. The Employer shall move to the next place on the overtime rotation list when new overtime is available. The District shall not be required to deadhead buses to comply with this section.

Overtime Schedule. A. The Employer shall equalize the overtime as equally as possible among employees in the same classification in their buildings. An up-to-date list showing overtime hours will be maintained and posted bi-weekly on appropriate bulletin boards. Whenever overtime is required, the person with the least number of overtime hours in that classification and within his/her building will be called first, and so on down the list in an attempt to equalize the overtime hours. Time not worked because the employee was unavailable or did not choose to work will be charged the hours worked for that call-out period, except for employees on vacation, sick leave, etc. Each fiscal year, the overtime hours will start over.
Overtime Schedule. Section 1: Overtime permission shall be procured by the Employer or his representative before any overtime work is started. It is agreed overtime work performed between the hours of 8:00a.m. Monday to 4:30 p.m. Friday, oral permission can be obtained through the offices of the following: Northern California District Council of Laborers.

Should overtime (for hourly employees) be necessitated by the Employer, it will make a reasonable effort to offer said overtime to the senior qualified employee in that classification on a rotating basis (i.e. most senior gets first opportunity) . It is agreed and understood that overtime will not be offered if there are employees available who have worked less than forty (40) hours in a given week. The Employer will make a reasonable effort to offer excess work available to employees with less than forty (40) hours first before it is offered to other employees. Within sixty (60) days after the effective date of this Agreement the Local Xxxxxxx and local Management will meet and agree on a fair method of assigning overtime. Upon agreement with the Employer and the Union, such shall become part of this Agreement.
