Overtime Roster. A. A rotating overtime emergency roster system shall be developed, approved and implemented by the Chief of Police subject to the written concurrence of the Township Administrator. The purpose of the emergency overtime roster system is to dispense overtime equally to all members of the Bargaining Unit.

Overtime Roster. An overtime roster will be kept by the Department Head and overtime will be divided as equally as possible among the available employees within the classification starting with the most senior employee. Such roster will include overtime worked as well as overtime offered and refused. An employee on vacation will not be charged with overtime refused while on vacation or on his/her days immediately preceding or following such vacation. Xxxxxx is to be credited for all time including compensatory time, overtime, etc. and tallied once a pay period and posted for all members to see. Overtime roster is to be zeroed out each calendar year.
Overtime Roster. The employees with the most Department seniority within the Department who are qualified to perform the job will be offered overtime first, with right of refusal and so on down the seniority list. The employee(s) with the least Department seniority within a Department who is/are qualified to perform the job shall be required to work the overtime if the more senior qualified employees do not accept the overtime. Employees not actively working when it is decided overtime is needed will be called and offered overtime as if they were working. Employees with seniority who cannot be reached, will have one (1) hour prior to the end of the shift to exercise their right to overtime. Notwithstanding the preceding, employees not actively working will not be called for overtime if daily schedules are extended for less than three (3) hours.

Overtime Roster. The Employer will use a rotating roster for offering overtime in accordance with the procedures below. The Parties agree to use the current overtime roster in place at the time of this agreement. New Employees will be added to the bottom of the list.
Overtime Roster. Those employees who wish to be added to the overtime roster shall submit a letter to the department head requesting same. Those employees shall be added with the highest amount of overtime as indicated by the roster. The letter shall include a telephone number or another means of contact. The City shall maintain one overtime roster per department per classification. The overtime roster shall be renewed on January 1 of each calendar year and the successive roster shall be prepared with the order of the employees from the previous roster showing the difference in hours.

Overtime Roster. The Overtime Roster records and publishes the amount of scheduled overtime (offered, actual and declined) for all employees. For Overtime Roster purposes, employees who serve a suspension (from pay and duty) will not be able to work overtime in their particular work unit but will be recorded as having been offered and rejected overtime for that pay period. (See Section 2 above) Each instance will be recorded based on the number of hours offered and shall be listed as rejected for each day that it applies.
Overtime Roster. A non-emergency overtime roster will be maintained within the department. Overtime shall be distributed as equally as practical among the employees. The City retains the right to require an employee to work overtime after making a reasonable effort to obtain a qualified volunteer. Overtime shall be required of all employees in an emergency situation.

Once overtime has been offered and either accepted or declined, the employee at the top of the list will be moved to the bottom. • The duration of overtime offered will vary by employee and be determined by the needs of the business. • An employee who has committed to working an additional block of time is accountable to uphold the committed hours. • An employee who is on planned vacation when their name appears on the current overtime roster will be skipped and their place held for the next available opportunity. An employee who is absent for any other reason when their name appears on the current overtime roster will be skipped and their name placed on the bottom of the list. • Dependent on the needs of the business, the Company may cancel overtime or shorten the length of the overtime shift. • Where overtime cannot be planned in advance, it will be offered in seniority order to employees who are present when the need occurs. • Unplanned overtime will be allocated in seniority order in the classification or job function from which the need arises. Should overtime be required in the Customer Care Representative classification, then it shall be offered in seniority order to employees working in that classification. Should the overtime be required in either of the Product Support teams, then it shall be offered in seniority order to employees working in that classification.
