Common use of Overtime Rates Clause in Contracts

Overtime Rates. (a) For Employees performing day work, time worked outside of or in excess of the Ordinary Hours shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first two (2) hours, any day Monday to Friday, and double time thereafter at the Base Hourly Rate outlined in subclause 13.1(a).

(a1) For Employees performing day workWith the exception of work performed by employees as part of scheduled shifts, all time worked outside of or in excess of the Ordinary Hours normal full-time work-day shall be paid for at the rate of time and a one-half (1½) for the first two three (23) hours, any day Monday to Friday, and double time thereafter at the Base Hourly Rate outlined in subclause 13.1(a)(2x) thereafter.
