Overtime Rate Sample Clauses
The Overtime Rate clause defines the pay rate that applies when an employee works hours beyond their standard work schedule. Typically, this clause specifies a higher hourly wage—such as time-and-a-half or double time—for hours worked over a set threshold, like 40 hours per week. By clearly outlining how extra work is compensated, the clause ensures fair payment for additional labor and helps prevent disputes over overtime pay.
