Overtime Opportunities. The parties agree that overtime shall be posted and bid as follows:
Overtime Opportunities. This article describes how overtime opportunities are distributed. Articles 25.01, 25.02, 25.03 and 25.09 are applicable to all departments. Articles 25.04, 25.05, 25.06 and 25.07 apply only to production departments. Article 25.08 is applicable only to the Maintenance departments.
Overtime Opportunities. It is understood and agreed that determining the need for overtime, scheduling overtime, and requiring overtime are solely the rights of the Employer. The Employer will not change a members’ schedule or scheduled shift starting time solely to avoid the payment of overtime without the members’ consent. Mandatory overtime, assigned by the Employer, shall be assigned as equitably as practical. In the event of multiple overtime assignments reverse seniority shall be used. Good faith attempts will be made to equalize overtime opportunities at any one installation.
Overtime Opportunities. In the event of a vacancy requiring an employee to work overtime, that vacancy shall be first offered to the employees within that classification. Thereafter, if not filled, the vacancy shall be assigned as set forth below or as operational needs require. If the employee(s) accepting overtime work are, at the Employer’s sole discretion, unable to either efficiently or adequately perform the work, the Employer may assign the overtime work to those individuals determined necessary to adequately and efficiently perform the work.
Overtime Opportunities. The County shall make a reasonable effort to equalize overtime. The Communication Center Director in his sole discretion shall determine when overtime work is necessary. If overtime is deemed necessary, the Communication Center Director will continue to make every effort to distribute it to qualified available bargaining unit employees first. When insufficient bargaining unit employees volunteer to work the overtime, the Director may utilize other employees to work the overtime.
Overtime Opportunities. Except as provided in Article XI, Section 2, and Overtime opportunities resulting from the inability of a full time employee to report for service for a period of less than one week shall be offered first to other full time employees. All other overtime opportunities may at the option of the Town, be offered to full time employees or to part time employees. Overtime shall be distributed among full time employees as equitably as practicable.
Overtime Opportunities. Opportunities for overtime work shall be distributed by the Corporation as equally as is practicable among the employees in a department who normally perform the work involved, and in accordance with Overtime Protocol developed by both Union and Management and as may be amended by mutual agreement from time to time.
Overtime Opportunities. The non-bargaining unit supervisor shall have the right to require overtime or to seek volunteers for the overtime. Upon request by the union consultant, the non-bargaining unit supervisor will provide, within a reasonable time after the request is received, the most current overtime information.
Overtime Opportunities. Overtime opportunities will be given firstly to Company full time, then part time and casual employees, followed by contract labour. Opportunities will be made to other shift’s employees if required as long as it does not discriminate or disadvantage either party.
Overtime Opportunities. (i) Overtime opportunities, including call-ins will be allocated as equitably and practicable amongst the qualified employees in the bargaining unit, except where a work period in excess of 16 hours or a double-time situation results.
