Common use of Overnight Rest Clause in Contracts

Overnight Rest. ‌ There shall be an interval of at least ten (10) hours between the final curtain on any night and the bus call for the next day’s travel. In the case of any one (1) day being completely devoted to travel with no performance, there shall be an interval of at least twelve (12) hours between the termination of that day’s bus journey, and the beginning of the following day’s bus journey. In no case shall travel begin sooner than 9:00 a.m. Where travel takes place within this specified rest period, the Artist shall invoice the Engager for additional services at Rate 3 of Clause 13:01(F).
