Overnight Allowance. 5.5.1 For any school camp or trip where an employee (other than a full time 52 week salaried employee) is required to attend and stay overnight, an allowance of $65 per night shall be paid. By mutual agreement, time in lieu may be substituted for this overnight allowance.

Overnight Allowance. Where the employer requires the employee(s) to stay overnight on the employer’s business and in the course of his/her employment the employee shall be paid in accordance with the employer’s Travel and Accommodation Policy as per Schedule A attached to this agreement.

Overnight Allowance. Those employees whose duties require them to stay overnight away from the branch shall receive a daily living away from home allowance as set out in Appendix B: Allowances. This allowance is intended to compensate employees for the costs associated with purchasing an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. Given employees will be paid the following week or month (for salaried employees), they may choose to forego this allowance should they not wish to use their own money to pay for the evening meal and/or breakfast and elect to have the meals paid by the Company, in accordance with Company Policy.
Overnight Allowance. This allowance is paid where a staff member is required to stay overnight for work purposes or to attend a conference. The company will book and pay for the accommodation including breakfast. The staff member shall be paid an overnight allowance of $60.00 to cover lunch and an evening meal. No overnight allowance may be claimed if a dinner has been paid for by the company for a staff member who is attending a conference etc. (Any room service charges, phone calls are to be paid by the staff member) Should a staff member choose to stay privately, an overnight allowance of $70.00 in total can be claimed. An authorised Expense Claim Form must be completed and forwarded to the travel co-ordinator for reimbursement. All reimbursement of travel related expenses must be made in accordance within the Reimbursement of Expenses Policy and Training and Development Policy. Schedule B - Site Specific Provisions Note: where there is an inconsistency between the provisions contained within this Schedule and the main body of the collective agreement, the provisions of this schedule shall prevail.
