Common use of Outage Authority and Coordination Clause in Contracts

Outage Authority and Coordination. 5.2.1 Coordination: The Interconnection Parties agree to confer regularly to coordinate the planning, scheduling and performance of preventive and corrective maintenance on the Generating Facility or Merchant Transmission Facility, the Project Developer Interconnection Facilities and any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and Transmission Owner Upgrades. In the event an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement is required, the Construction Parties acknowledge and agree that certain outages of transmission facilities owned by the Transmission Owner, as more specifically detailed in the Scope of Work, may be necessary in order to complete the process of constructing and installing all Interconnection Facilities and Transmission Owner Upgrades. The Interconnection Parties, and where applicable, any Construction Parties, further acknowledge and agree that any such outages shall be coordinated by and through the Transmission Provider.
