Other Vacancies. An employee laid off or about to be laid off may open any employment register for which he/she is eligible for the purpose of establishing qualifications for any MMA position. The placement on class registers and certification procedures for employees on layoff shall be treated as promotional in all cases, regardless of the pay grade of the class for which the employee is applying.
