Other promises. You promise to protect your title to the leasehold interest and every other right of the tenant under the lease. For example, you promise that, if you've had work done on the property, the property is now free from a construction, renovation, builder's or mechanic's lien, legal hypothec or claim. Except where the property is in Québec, you promise that, if we're entitled under the contract to possess or enjoy the property, we'll have quiet possession or enjoyment of it free from property claims (except for the contract).
