Other Paid Leave. 1Leave periods outside the Work/Leave Rotation Cycle as per Annex 1, article 3.2 shall not be paid unless required by this Agreement or for other mandatory reasons (“Other Paid Leave Days”). 2When an employee falls sick or suffers an accident during the Leave Period and such sickness or accident prevents him/her from returing to the Work Site in accordance with the Work/Leave Rotation Cycle, he or she has to notify the Company and the Site Manager immediately (article 9.4 para. 7 – 10 shall also apply).
Other Paid Leave. For absence caused by required jury duty and Court appearance as a witness in any case connected with employment with the district provided that the matter does not involve proceedings brought against the Board or the District by the employee or the Association, the employee will be compensated the difference between normally earned daily wages and the jury or witness fee.
Other Paid Leave. Leaves allowed under Article 11.4 below shall not be deducted from accumulated paid leave.
Other Paid Leave. If a teacher is on any other type of leave when school is closed due to an emergency, such as long term sick leave, bereavement leave, or child care leave, the teacher will be deemed to have used a day of leave on that date and any paid leave will be deducted from the teacher’s account and the duration of the leave will not be adjusted.
Other Paid Leave. 5.17.3.1 The District may at any time request a faculty member to attend a professional conference. When such requests are made and the faculty member accepts, the District shall reimburse the faculty member for their expenses up to an agreed- upon limit. District-requested attendance at professional conferences shall be in addition to the leave provided by this section.
Other Paid Leave. A pregnant employee may elect to utilize accrued vacation, compensatory time off, or any other earned form of paid absence from work in lieu of, or in combination with, paid sick leave during the period of pregnancy related leave, the combination of which may not exceed normal full pay.
Other Paid Leave. An eligible employee may elect, or the College may require the employee, to substitute any of the accrued paid vacation leave, personal leave, sick leave, family leave, or any other paid leave to which the employee may be eligible under this agreement for all or part of any unpaid family and medical leave.
Other Paid Leave. 11.1 You are eligible for other paid leave including maternity leave, adoption leave, paternity leave, shared parental leave, bereavement leave, parental leave, sabbatical leave, dependants leave, compassionate leave, training and study leave and leave for public duties, in accordance with our current policies, as amended from time to time, subject to your complying with the relevant statutory and other conditions and requirements in order to be entitled to the leave and pay. Other Paid Leave. 29.08 Where a school is closed owing to the death of a member of the staff, the teachers in that school shall be considered to be on leave of absence with pay for the period the school is closed.
