OTHER EMERGENCIES. Seattle may temporarily interrupt or reduce deliveries of water to Water Utility if Seattle determines that such interruption or reduction is necessary or reasonable in case of system emergencies or in order to install equipment, make repairs, replacements, investigations and inspections or perform other maintenance work on the Seattle Water Supply System. Except in cases of emergency, and in order that Water Utility's operations will not be unreasonably interrupted, Seattle shall give Water Utility and the Operating Board reasonable notice of any such interruption or reduction, the reasons for and the probable duration. Seattle shall use its best efforts to minimize service interruptions to Water Utility.
OTHER EMERGENCIES. Company expects Vessel Owner to have made suitable arrangements for safe sheltered anchorage during severe weather including but not limited to tropical storms or hurricanes and Vessel Owner warrants such arrangements have or will be made. Vessel Owner may not assume that Company’s premises will be safe, sheltered anchorage during such period. In the event of impending severe weather or an emergency, Company, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to move or evacuate the Vessel or take such other actions as Company deems appropriate at Vessel Owner’s sole risk and expense. UNDERTAKING TO MOVE OR EVACUATE THE VESSEL SHALL NOT BE DEEMED AN ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SAFETY, SECURITY, AND CARE OF THE VESSEL BY COMPANY. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE DEEMED A BAILEE OF THE VESSEL. Vessel Owner agrees to reimburse Company for any and all costs it incurs on Vessel Owner’s behalf in emergency situations.
OTHER EMERGENCIES. An “Other Emergency” is further defined to also include any situation that causes, or has the ability to create, an unsafe or hazardous condition to the traveling public or presents the possibility to cause damage to public and/or private property. MAINTENANCE MAPS UPDATES Complete and update the Maintenance Maps throughout the life of this contract. A progress-set submittal is due eight (8) months after beginning contract which will demonstrate to the Department the manner and progress of this task. Updating the maintenance maps shall be complete one (1) year after beginning contract. Updated sets showing all updates to each of the corridors under this contract are due to the Department every six (6) months beginning one (1) year after beginning contract. Each submittal will require four hard copies and two DVDs. The Department will provide the Contractor a DVD with all existing Maintenance Maps. These maps were created using Microstation. All plan features stated below are required in the maps. Submit maps as described below.
OTHER EMERGENCIES. The Contractor shall work with the District to develop alternative interim fuel delivery solutions in the advent of a natural disaster or other emergencies that may disrupt normal fueling operations. The Contractor shall provide the District with a 24-hour contact number.

OTHER EMERGENCIES. A matter of a compelling emergency nature which is not covered by one of the above reasons and which cannot be reasonably disregarded, and is of such severity that the unit member is required to attend to it during assigned hours of service. The District shall provide unit members with three unchallenged uses of “Other Emergencies” leave. The use of two days shall not precede or follow a holiday. Unit members shall, whenever possible, give 24 hours notice of such emergency. A unit member may not use personal necessity leave for “other emergencies” if his/her personal necessity leave utilization for the current year already equals or exceeds seven (7) days.
OTHER EMERGENCIES. If a component of the rack equipment causes any dangerous condition (excessive overheating, fire, etc.) n+2 will attempt to turn off that specific equipment; if this is not possible, all the power for the rack will be turned off before notifying the client.

  • Medical Emergency A medical condition which manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate attention to result in 1) placing the health of the individual (or with respect to a pregnant woman, the health of the woman or her unborn child) in serious jeopardy; 2) serious impairment to bodily functions; or 3) serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. Examples of a medical emergency are severe pain, suspected heart attacks and fractures. Examples of a non- medical emergency are minor cuts and scrapes. Medically Necessary and Medical Necessity Services a physician, exercising prudent clinical judgment, would use with a patient to prevent, evaluate, diagnose or treat an illness or injury or its symptoms. These services must:  Agree with generally accepted standards of medical practice  Be clinically appropriate in type, frequency, extent, site and duration., They must also be considered effective for the patient’s illness, injury or disease  Not be mostly for the convenience of the patient, physician, or other healthcare provider. They do not cost more than another service or series of services that are at least as likely to produce equivalent therapeutic or diagnostic results for the diagnosis or treatment of that patient’s illness, injury or disease. For these purposes, “generally accepted standards of medical practice” means standards that are based on credible scientific evidence published in peer reviewed medical literature. This published evidence is recognized by the relevant medical community, physician specialty society recommendations and the views of physicians practicing in relevant clinical areas and any other relevant factors. Member Any person covered under this plan. Mental Condition A condition that is listed in the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). This does not include conditions and treatments for chemical dependency. Mental Health Services Medically necessary outpatient and inpatient services provided to treat mental conditions. State and federal law require that the copays and coinsurance for mental health services will be no more than the copays and coinsurance for medical and surgical services. Prescription drugs for mental conditions are covered under the same terms and conditions as other prescription drugs covered under this plan.

  • National Emergency In cases of national emergency, the Contractor must maintain and support certain systems/ functions considered mission essential. In this event, the Government may require that certain essential personnel report for duty or, may provide support on an on-call or as-needed basis.

  • Law Enforcement Emergencies If a Party receives a request from a law enforcement agency to implement at its switch a temporary number change, temporary disconnect, or one-way denial of outbound calls for an end user of the other Party, the receiving Party will comply so long as it is a valid emergency request. Neither Party will be held liable for any claims or damages arising from compliance with such requests, and the Party serving the end user agrees to indemnify and hold the other Party harmless against any and all such claims.

  • Personal Emergency Leave 1. A teacher will be granted up to five (5) days of leave per year to cover situations other than personal illness beyond the control of the teacher which would significantly impair teaching service. Deductions from the gross pay of a teacher for this leave shall be made at the degreed substitute rate of pay for each day taken.

As was indicated in the section, Health Insurance & Confidentiality of Records, you must be aware that submitting a mental health invoice for reimbursement carries a certain amount of risk. Not all issues/conditions/problems, which are dealt with in psychotherapy, are reimbursed by insurance companies. It is your responsibility to verify the specifics of your coverage. If your account is overdue (unpaid) and there is no written agreement on a payment plan, Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx can use legal or other means (courts, collection agencies, etc.) to obtain payment.
