Other Educational Expenses. The Board will provide up to thirty five dollars $35 per year, excluding sales tax, per teacher. Materials are subject to the approval of the administration, and if not used shall become the property of the Board of Education. The Board will provide, to all members, a letter clarifying the tax-exempt status of educational purchases for use in the classroom.

Other Educational Expenses. In addition to the other benefits set forth herein, effective in the 2023-2024 academic year, Residents will have access to an annual education stipend of $600, increasing to $1800 effective October 1, 2023, and continuing as a $1800 annual education stipend in the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. Beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year, any unused education stipend funds may rollover to the next academic year, but they must be spent in that subsequent year. Education stipend funds may be spent on textbooks or journals, exam review materials or courses, board certification fees, medical equipment, or professional association membership fees. Residents will submit requests for education stipend funds to their program director, or program administrator. Contingent on funding availability, a program may provide additional funds to Residents for licensure, certification, examination study materials, and other educational purposes in addition to those listed in this Article, provided that such funds will be available on an equitable basis within the respective program.

  • Higher education expenses Payments taken for certain qualified higher education expenses for you, your spouse, or the children or grandchildren of you or your spouse, will not be subject to the 10 percent early distribution penalty tax. 7)

  • Member Education The Contractor shall provide members with general information about the benefits packages covered under the Hoosier Healthwise program. The Contractor shall have policies and procedures in place to ensure that member education information is accurate in content, accurate in translation relevant to language, and do not defraud, mislead, or confuse the member. Member education shall include, but not necessarily limited to the items noted below:

  • Legal Expenses The Borrower hereby agrees to pay all reasonable fees and expenses of special counsel to the Administrative Agent incurred by the Administrative Agent in connection with the preparation, negotiation and execution of this Amendment and all related documents.

If there are no specific VOSHA regulations or standards for the agent in question, recommendations of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health or other generally recognized expert organization shall be used, as determined by the Commissioner of Health.

  • Required Education (a) The Employer shall provide and fund any Employer required training/education for a Nurse.

  • Payment of Extraordinary Education Related Expenses Section 5.1. PAYMENT OF EXTRAORDINARY EDUCATION-RELATED EXPENSES. In addition to the amounts determined pursuant to Articles IV and VI of this Agreement, Applicant on an annual basis shall also indemnify and reimburse District for all non-reimbursed costs, certified by the District’s external auditor to have been incurred by the District for extraordinary education-related expenses directly and solely related to the project that are not directly funded in state aid formulas, including expenses for the purchase of portable classrooms and the hiring of additional personnel to accommodate a temporary increase in student enrollment caused directly by such project. Applicant shall have the right to contest the findings of the District’s external auditor pursuant to Section 4.9 above.

  • Continuing Education 24.01 The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Continuing Education Allowance (a) A registered nurse or enrolled nurse who holds a continuing education qualification in a clinical field, in addition to the qualification leading to registration or enrolment, shall be paid an allowance subject to the conditions set out in this clause.
