Advance Of Credits Where an employee has insufficient credits to permit the granting of special leave within the meaning of this Article, leave up to a maximum of five (5) days, may, at the discretion of the Employer be granted, subject to the deduction of such advance leave from any special leave credits subsequently earned. The provisions of this Article do not apply to an employee who is on leave of absence without pay, or under suspension, or laid-off.

Xxxxxx leave will be granted for the length of the appointment only, to a maximum of two (2) hours. Employees may be required to provide a medical certificate or other documentation acceptable to the Employer to confirm the reason for casual leave.
