Other Authorized Leaves. Bargaining unit members shall be entitled to an unpaid medical leave under section 3319.13 of the Ohio Revised Code, military leave under section 5923.05 of the Ohio Revised Code, and jury duty leave under section 3313.211 of the Ohio Revised Code, provided the bargaining unit member qualifies for such leave(s) in accordance with the respective statutory requirements.

Other Authorized Leaves. 9.1 The Superintendent and the Association recognize that certain important obligations may entail a member to be absent from school. In the interest of performing all required duties and services, such absence must be limited. All members of this bargaining unit may receive five days of personal leave (which shall be deducted from sick leave accumulation) in any school year under the following conditions:

  • Authorized Leave Authorized leaves of absence from the Company shall not constitute a termination of employment for purposes of the Unit. For purposes of the Unit, an authorized leave of absence shall be an absence while the Grantee is on military leave, sick leave, or other bona fide leave of absence so long as the Grantee’s right to employment with the Company is guaranteed by statute, a contract or Company policy.

  • Unauthorized Leave (a) Any unauthorized absence of an employee from duty shall be deemed to be an absence without pay.

  • Authorized Leave Without Pay A. Agency/Departmental Leave‌ A regular, limited-term or probationary employee may request an agency/departmental leave without pay for a period of time not to exceed fifteen (15) calendar days.   • Sick Leave Verification Process a. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district.
