Other agreements and arrangements. The X.Xx. student will give a 15 minute oral presentation at approx. one month after the start of the thesis project. This presentation will summarize the X.Xx. research proposal (background /scientific interest / objective(s) / relevant theories (conceptual frames) / materials and methodology / data collection / data analysis). The presentation will be held during the colloquium series or work discussions of the research group. The supervisor is responsible to schedule this talk. The X.Xx. student will actively participate in the work discussions and literature discussions of the research group of his/her supervisor. Absence from work discussions need clarification. The X.Xx. student is responsible to schedule the final oral presentation (30 minutes) of the X.Xx. thesis work. After two months a GO/NO GO decision will be made. Well motivated arguments have to be presented by the student or supervisor to insist on immediate termination of the thesis research.
