ORO H50 SAFEGUARDS AND SECURITY AWARENESS PROGRAM. (MAY 1997) The Contractor shall establish and maintain a Safeguards and Security Awareness Program acceptable to the Department of Energy (DOE) which satisfies the requirements of DOE Order 470.1. A Safeguards Security Awareness Coordinator must be appointed and will be responsible for ensuring that all employees, cleared and uncleared, who are assigned to a DOE facility or who are performing work involving access to classified facilities, classified information, or special nuclear materials are informed of their security responsibilities. Any subcontracts in support of this work shall require subcontractors to comply with the Contractor's Safeguards and Security Awareness Program.

  • Human and Financial Resources to Implement Safeguards Requirements 6. The Borrower shall make available necessary budgetary and human resources to fully implement the EMP and the RP.

  • Security Awareness and Training We have implemented and maintain an information security and awareness program that is delivered to employees and appropriate contractors at the time of hire or contract commencement and annually thereafter. The awareness program is delivered electronically and includes a testing aspect with minimum requirements to pass. Additionally, development staff members are provided with secure code development training.

  • Technical Safeguards 1. USAC and the Department will process the data matched and any data created by the match under the immediate supervision and control of authorized personnel to protect the confidentiality of the data, so unauthorized persons cannot retrieve any data by computer, remote terminal, or other means.

  • System Security and Data Safeguards When SAP is given access to Licensee’s systems and data, SAP shall comply with Licensee’s reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect such data and guard against unauthorized access. In connection with such access, Licensee shall be responsible for providing Consultants with user authorizations and passwords to access its systems and revoking such authorizations and terminating such access, as Licensee deems appropriate from time to time. Licensee shall not grant SAP access to Licensee systems or personal information (of Licensee or any third party) unless such access is essential for the performance of Services under the Agreement. The parties agree that no breach of this provision shall be deemed to have occurred in the event of SAP non-conformance with the aforementioned safeguard but where no personal information has been compromised.

  • Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility and Security Standards a. Applicability: The following Electronic and Information Resources (“EIR”) requirements apply to the Contract because the Grantee performs services that include EIR that the System Agency's employees are required or permitted to access or members of the public are required or permitted to access. This Section does not apply to incidental uses of EIR in the performance of the Agreement, unless the Parties agree that the EIR will become property of the State of Texas or will be used by HHSC’s clients or recipients after completion of the Agreement. Nothing in this section is intended to prescribe the use of particular designs or technologies or to prevent the use of alternative technologies, provided they result in substantially equivalent or greater access to and use of a Product.

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.   • Information Safeguards Business Associate will develop, document, implement, maintain and use appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of and to prevent non-permitted use or disclosure of PHI created for or received from Recipient or its Subsidiaries. These safeguards must be appropriate to the size and complexity of Business Associate’s operations and the nature and scope of its activities. Business Associate agrees that these safeguards will meet any applicable requirements set forth by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including (as of the effective date or as of the compliance date, whichever is applicable) any requirements set forth in the final HIPAA security regulations. Business Associate agrees to mitigate, to the extent practicable, any harmful effect that is known to Business Associate resulting from a use or disclosure of PHI by Business Associate in violation of the requirements of this Addendum.

  • Contractor and Employee Security Precautions A. The security aspects of working at the Correctional Facility are critical. The following security precautions are part of the site conditions and are a part of this Contract. All persons coming on the site in any way connected with this Work shall be made aware of them, and it is the (General) Contractor’s responsibility to check and enforce them.

  • New Hampshire Specific Data Security Requirements The Provider agrees to the following privacy and security standards from “the Minimum Standards for Privacy and Security of Student and Employee Data” from the New Hampshire Department of Education. Specifically, the Provider agrees to:

  • PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND APPAREL 16.01 The Employer will furnish employees with all necessary personal protective equipment (including safety helmets, safety glasses, gloves etc.) and rain gear if and when required. Said equipment shall remain the property of the Employer. Any worn out safety equipment will be replaced by the Employer upon presentation of the worn equipment. The employees shall be held responsible for loss or improper maintenance of Employer furnished items, including personal protective equipment, rain gear and safety equipment, in which case employees may, at the discretion of the Employer, be subject to disciplinary action.
