– ORIENTATION AND IN SERVICE. 20.01 Planned orientation of three (3) days on day shift, two (2) days on evening shift and one (1) day on night shift shall be provided for newly employed nurses. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for discussing the Employer's policies with each nurse during the orientation period. The Employer may extend the duration of the orientation program as it deems appropriate, taking into consideration the needs of the Employer and the nurses involved.
