Organizational Leave. The Board of Education will provide for leaves of absence without pay to elected officers or appointed representatives of Local No. 284. Employees acting as business agent must take an unpaid leave of absence from their position.

Organizational Leave. 10.5.1 The District will grant leave to certain officers and representatives of the Association, as determined by the Association, not to exceed a total of fifty (50) days (for all officers/representatives) per school year, to attend to organizational business when circumstances necessitate that the organizational matters must be attended during the normal working day.

Organizational Leave. 14.6.1 An organizational leave shall be granted to a Unit Member, upon request, to serve as an elected officer of, or appointee to, the local public employee organization or a statewide or national public employee organization with which the Union is affiliated.
Organizational Leave. 16.6.1 Leave may be granted to unit members who are elected officers of PAHSTA of up to fifteen (15) days per school year for the purpose of enabling such unit members to serve as an elected officer of the Association or any statewide or national public employee organization with which the Association is affiliated; however, no one person may take more than five (5) days of this leave. This provision does not refer to at-the-table negotiating.
Organizational Leave. A leave without pay for the purpose of serving as an officer in a state or national Employee organization up to two (2) years shall be granted upon written application. Application must be made by March 1 to the Superintendent. Such leave shall commence at the beginning of the next school term, except in an emergency when it may begin forthwith, and in such instances the leave shall be for no more than the balance of that school term and one succeeding school term.
Organizational Leave. Members of the bargaining unit who assume a full-time, paid officer position in Education Minnesota, the National Education Association, or the American Federation of Teachers shall be granted annual leave for the duration of their term in office. Such leave shall not count against the 3 year general leave limit.
