Common use of Organic Waste Clause in Contracts

Organic Waste. Those materials which are capable of being composted and 380 which would otherwise be processed as Recyclable Material or disposed of as Garbage. 381 Organic Waste includes any vegetative matter resulting from normal yard and landscaping 382 maintenance that is not more than three (3) feet in its longest dimension or six (6) inches in 383 diameter and fits in the Organics Cart utilized by the Service Recipient. Organic Waste 384 includes plant debris, such as palm, yucca and cactus, grass clippings, leaves, pruning, 385 weeds, branches, brush, holiday trees, and other forms of vegetative waste. Organic Waste 386 also includes Food Waste, Stable Matter, and food packaging items such as pizza boxes, 387 paper towels, waxed cardboard and food contaminated paper products. Organic Waste 388 does not include items herein defined as Exempt Waste.
