Common use of Option Term Clause in Contracts

Option Term. Unless Section 2 of the Coversheet indicates that an Option Term is not applicable, the JBE may, at its sole option, extend this Agreement for a single one-year term, at the end of which Option Term this Agreement shall expire. In order to exercise this Option Term, the JBE must send Notice to Contractor at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the Initial Term. The exercise of an Option Term will be effective without Contractor’s signature.

Option Term.
