The services, if any, of Engineer with respect to Total Project Costs shall be limited to assisting the Owner in collating the various cost categories which comprise Total Project Costs. Engineer assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of any opinions of Total Project Costs.

Opinions of Total Project Costs. A. The services, if any, of Engineer with respect to Total Project Costs for a Specific Project shall be limited to assisting the PCCA in tabulating the various categories that comprise Total Project Costs. Engineer’s opinions (if any) of probable Total Project Costs are to be made on the basis of Engineer’s experience and qualifications and represent Engineer’s best judgment as an experienced and qualified professional generally familiar with the industry. However, since Engineer has no control over the cost of labor, materials, equipment, or services furnished by others, or over methods of determining prices, or over competitive bidding or market conditions, Engineer cannot and does not guarantee that Total Project Costs will not vary from opinions of probable Total Project Costs prepared by Engineer.

Design Professional shall assist the Owner in developing and maintaining the Statement of Probable Project Cost which shall include all costs associated with and required to complete the project, including the Probable Construction Cost. The Design Professional shall provide the Statement of Probable Project Cost for all elements that are under its contract to design, such as FF&E, Technical Systems, etc.

  • Total Project Costs The sum of the Construction Cost, allowances for contingencies, and the total costs of services of Engineer or other design professionals and consultants, together with such other Project-related costs that Owner furnishes for inclusion, including but not limited to cost of land, rights-of-way, compensation for damages to properties, Owner’s costs for legal, accounting, insurance counseling and auditing services, interest and financing charges incurred in connection with the Project, and the cost of other services to be provided by others to Owner pursuant to Exhibit B of this Agreement.

  • Audit Costs In the event of an audit exception or exceptions related to the services provided pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the party responsible for not meeting the requirements set forth herein shall be responsible for the deficiency and for the cost of the audit. If the allowable expenditures cannot be determined because CONTRACTOR’s documentation is nonexistent or inadequate, according to generally accepted accounting practices, the questionable cost shall be disallowed by COUNTY.
