I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the County of San Bernardino and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and their officers, agents, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims and losses accruing or resulting to the Operator in connection with the performance of this Agreement, and from any and all claims and losses accruing or resulting to any person, firm, or corporation who may be injured or damaged by the Operator in the performance of this Agreement. BASE SERVICES Any service or tow which is performed when the vehicle operator or agent is present and the vehicle is not stored at the direction of an officer. CHIEF OF POLICE The Chief of Police of the Redlands Police Department. CHP The Department of the California Highway Patrol. ENROLLMENT PERIOD The period of time when a tow company may submit an application for inclusion on the rotation tow list. The enrollment period will be open for at least 30 days and the dates will be determined by the Police Commander.

  • FAA APPROVAL This Agreement may be subject to approval of the FAA. If the FAA disapproves this Agreement, it will become null and void, and both Parties will bear their own expenses relative to this Agreement, up to the date of disapproval.

  • Prior Approval The Engineer shall not assign, subcontract or transfer any portion of professional services related to the work under this contract without prior written approval from the State.

  • Prior Approval Required Consultant shall not subcontract any portion of the work required by this Agreement, except as expressly stated herein, without prior written approval of LAFCO. Subcontracts, if any, shall contain a provision making them subject to all provisions stipulated in this Agreement.

  • Approval/Non-Approval We will notify you whether your Application has been approved or denied within 14 days after the date we receive a completed Application. Notification may be in person or by mail or telephone unless you have requested that notification be by mail. You must not assume approval until you receive actual notice of approval. The 14-day time period may be changed only by separate written agreement.

  • Final Approval After Acceptance, Engineer shall perform any required modifications, changes, alterations, corrections, redesigns, and additional work necessary to receive Final Approval by the County. "Final Approval" in this sense shall mean formal recognition that the Engineering Services have been fully carried out.

  • Project Approval The County may issue a Job Order Authorization for the Work, to include the firm-fixed-price of the Job Order and the project duration. Contractor agrees that all clauses of this Contract are applicable to any Job Order issued hereunder. The County reserves the right to reject a Contractor’s Quote based on unjustifiable quantities and/or methods, performance periods, inadequate documentation, or other inconsistencies or deficiencies on the Contractor’s part in the sole opinion of the County. The County reserves the right to issue a unilateral Job Order authorization for the Work if a Quote price cannot be mutually agreed upon. This is based upon unjustifiable quantities in the sole opinion of the County. The County also reserves the right to not issue a Job Order Authorization if the County’s requirement is no longer valid or the project is not funded. In these instances, the Contractor has no right of claim to recover Quote expenses. The County may pursue continuing valid requirements by other means where Contract was not reached with the Contractor.

  • Union Approval Where the grievance relates to the interpretation or application of this Collective Agreement, the employee is not entitled to present the grievance unless she has the approval in writing of the Union or is represented by the Union.

  • AGREEMENT APPROVAL This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any previously executed agreements, representations, verbal or written, to buy and/or sell the property. Neither this agreement, nor any interest herein, shall be transferred or assigned by Buyer without the prior written consent of Seller.

  • Plan Approval 5.5.1.1 The A/E shall secure the required structural, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical plan approvals.

  • FERC Approval Notwithstanding any other provision of this Appendix 2, no termination hereunder shall become effective until the Interconnected Entities and/or Transmission Provider have complied with all Applicable Laws and Regulations applicable to such termination, including the filing with the FERC of a notice of termination of the Interconnection Service Agreement, and acceptance of such notice for filing by the FERC.
