Operations Board. A joint Operations Board (“Operations Board”) shall be established pursuant to I.C. 36-1-7-9(5)(B) to oversee and administer the CCP. The Operations Board shall be comprised of seven individuals appointed as follows: three (3) individuals to be appointed by the Mayor, three (3) to be appointed by the County Commissioners and a seventh member to be jointly selected by those appointed by the Mayor and the County Commissioners. Board members shall serve at the pleasure of their appointing authority. If the members cannot agree on a seventh (7th) member, the seventh (7th) member shall be appointed by agreement between the Board of Commissioners and the Mayor. The Board of Commissioners shall have one (1) vote as a group and the Mayor shall have one (1) vote.
Operations Board. A. There is hereby established an Operations Board under authority of the Policy Board. The members of the Operations Board will be the members of the Law Enforcement Services and Fire Services Committees. Each committee will have (1) one vote. If the Operations Board cannot reach consensus, the deciding vote will be cast by the Policy Board.
