(21) A practitioner rostered on call, who is called back to the hospital is paid (in addition to the prescribed flat rate on call payment) the same prescribed flat rate allowance for each call back. If one attendance at the hospital is for a continuous period of more than 4 hours, then an additional flat rate allowance is paid. ON CALL ROSTER. The hospital Emergency On Call Roster payments will be:
ON CALL ROSTER. All full time child welfare staff are required to be available, if needed, to provide emergency after hours service in the form of night and weekend duty on a rotational basis. In developing the on-call roster, employees that require new hires training for their position will be given the first opportunity to fill the on-call roster. If vacancies exist on the on-call roster, other staff that have completed the Child Welfare Professional Training Series may be included in the rotation. Staff currently employed by the Employer will be given the opportunity to complete Child Welfare Professional Training Series and once authorized, may be included in the roster. The Employer provides a cell phone where available, for the use of employees performing “on call” duty. The “on call” emergency worker roster will be prepared by the supervisor designate. Where a vacancy occurs on the call roster, the vacancy(s) will be offered by seniority, if not accepted, it will be assigned by reverse seniority by office on a rotational basis. It is understood that reverse seniority will be defined as least senior employee to most senior.
ON CALL ROSTER. (a) In order to deliver quality resident care and to support efficient replacement of employees who are on unplanned leave, the Employer may operate an on-call roster. (b) An employee on-call agrees to make themselves ready and available to return to work at short notice at the Employer’s premises, while off duty. (c) Participation in the on-call roster is voluntary and employees must not be directed to be on call. (d) If an employee and the Employer agree to the employee being listed on the on-call roster, the employee commits to being willing and able to attend work and provide care and services according to their role at short notice. (e) An on-call allowance must be paid to an employee who is rostered to be on-call at their private residence or any other mutually agreed place. (f) For every 24-hour on-call period, or part thereof, an on-call employee is entitled to an on-call allowance as follows: Between rostered shifts or ordinary hours on: $ per 24-hour period or part thereof Monday to Friday inclusive $25.48 Saturday $38.38 Sunday, public holiday, or non-rostered day: $44.77 The above rates may move in line with those on-call allowance rates contained in Clause 17.2(a) of the Award. (g) For the purpose of payment the whole of the on-call period is calculated according to the day on which the major portion of the on-call period falls (h) When an on-call employee is recalled to duty by the Employer they must be reimbursed all reasonable travel costs actually incurred. If the employee elects to use their own vehicle for this purpose the employee must be paid the per kilometre allowance set out in Item 4 of Schedule C to this agreement (i) An employee who is on-call and who is recalled to work at the workplace will be paid a minimum of 4 hours work. (ii) All work undertaken after being recalled will be subject to any applicable loadings and penalty rates, as per this Agreement.
ON CALL ROSTER. 6.1 The Site Services Manager will maintain a roster for all Employees who are required to be available for Call Out. 6.2 For the purpose of this clause an “On Call Period” refers to the available period for a call out on a weekend. The “On Call Period” commences from the completion of rostered shifts of a Friday, and finishes at the commencement of rostered shifts on a Monday. The “On Call Period” in respect to this clause does not include a scheduled maintenance shutdown period e.g. Christmas shutdown, or mid year shut down. Call out and payment arrangements for maintenance shutdowns will be subject to the hours of work provisions of this Agreement. 6.3 If Employees are part of this roster the following will apply; (a) Employees must have proven site competency for the relevant site where they are required to complete work. (b) Employees will be paid an allowance of $600.00 (gross) when they are available to participate for the full “On Call Period” of the roster. This allowance will be paid in lieu of any entitlement to a Call Out payment made under clause 6.6 of this Agreement. 6.4 This allowance may be apportioned between Employees where the rostered Employee is unable or not required to cover the entire “On Call Period”. The apportioning of the “On Call Period” will be administered and approved by the manager on a percentage basis as per the following example. 6.5 If the “On Call Period” includes a public holiday and the nominated person has been required to attend work then an additional payment of $250 (gross) will be paid. This additional payment will be paid in lieu of any entitlement to a Call Out payment made under clause 6.6 of this Agreement. 6.6 Where an Employee is rostered to be available for a call out, they must ensure that they are contactable by phone for the entire “On Call Period”. In the event that an Employee cannot be contacted, and another Site Services Employee or Contractor is called in, the Employee will forfeit any allowance payable for the “On Call Period”. In this circumstance, the Employee will only be paid for the actual hours worked during the “On Call Period” at the rates prescribed in clause 6.6 of this Agreement. The overall amount payable to the Employee in this circumstance will be capped at the level prescribed in clause 6.3 (b) of this schedule.
ON CALL ROSTER. 1.2.1 In addition to the conditions set out in clause 2.1 of Part 2 this agreement employees of the Enterprise shall be required to be rostered for call outs to ensure that clients’ requirements for service out of standard hours are met. 1.2.2 Employees so called out shall be paid a minimum of three hours at double time for the first call out and if called to another job or jobs before they have returned home from the first call out payment shall continue at double time until they return home. 1.2.3 Employees called out a subsequent time after they have returned home shall be paid a further minimum of three hours at double time for the first call out and if called to another job or jobs before they have returned home from this subsequent call out payment shall continue at double time until they return home.
ON CALL ROSTER. Where the employee is called out to perform emergency service work outside of normal rostered hours, that is captured on invoices and billable to customers, shall be paid, an all inclusive call- out rate in accordance with Annexure A. Employees who are called out to work shall be paid a minimum of 4 hours at the call out rate. The employee called out will be paid for an hour after the sign or swipe off from the site called into. In cases where the employee has departed from the workshop and has travelled at least 35km, the time of commencement of the call-out rate shall be the time of notice of the call-out. Where the called in employee has received a call out a second time and the employee is 35km or more from the call out site, the employee will be entitled to a second minimum 4 hour call out payment where this call out is billable to the customer. In the interest of safety and sound fatigue management an "on call" employee must constantly assess his/her fatigue and if he/she feels he/she is at risk then he/she must raise the issue with the supervisor or manager. If a decision is made to replace the "on call" technician with a substitute, then the rostered "on call" technician will not be financially disadvantaged. All employees shall have a break between the finish of their last callout and start of the next shift of ten hours minimum. Each employee may only work a maximum of 14 continuous hours in any given 24-hour period. Those employees incurring a break during our normal working hours, (Monday to Friday), shall be paid at their normal hourly rate where this is agreed and billable to the customer. Where this is not the case, the employee will observe an eight hour break. It is the responsibility of the after hours employee to make all reasonable endeavours to confirm customer order numbers and authorization prior to attending the call and the start of the works. The employee will also be required to have the customer sign off on any stand down time agreed. If the need arises due to periods of peak workloads the company will promote extra call out persons. If business has a downturn the company has the right to remove the call out position.
ON CALL ROSTER. Employees required to be on-call will be paid a flat rate of $35.00 per day for each day that they participate in the On Call Roster. On-call Employee means an employee who outside ordinary working hours is required to be available at all times to perform Critical Business Service Incident work.
ON CALL ROSTER. 3.4.1 In addition to the conditions set out in clause 2.1 of Part 2 this agreement employees of the Enterprise shall required to be rostered for call outs to ensure that clients’ requirements for service out of standard hours are met. 3.4.2 Plumbers so called out shall be paid a minimum of 1 hours pay per call out. The rate shall be time and a half. 3.4.3 If a public holiday or RDO becomes due while an employee is rostered on call such public holiday or RDO shall be deferred and be taken at a time mutually agreed between the enterprise and the employee. 3.4.4 Plumbers Labourers shall be required to assist on call plumbers for up to three weeks per year pre arranged during times of peak demand.
ON CALL ROSTER. 17.1 Employees may volunteer to be placed on an on call roster between the hours of 7am Saturday and 7 am Monday. 17.2 Payment for being on-call will be as follows: (a) during the first year of this Agreement: $5.50 per hour (b) during the second year of this Agreement: $5.69 per hour (c) during the third year of this Agreement: $5.89 per hour. 17.3 The above minimum payments recognise the requirement for an Employee to be rostered for a minimum of eight (8) hours on call. This minimum payment may be reduced to four (4) hours by mutual agreement in writing between the Hospital and an individual Employee, where an Employee agrees to be rostered for less than eight (8) hours on call. 17.4 An Employee who chooses to be included on the on-call roster, when rostered for on call duty, must remain ready for work and in a suitable condition to commence work. 17.5 Employees will have two (2) consecutive on call free days each week, unless mutually agreed.
