Officers of the Association. The President of the Association shall inform, in writing, the Vice-President (Human Resources) of the names of Members holding official positions in the Association and/or those selected for responsibilities pursuant to this Collective Agreement within seven (7) calendar days of their appointment.

Officers of the Association. The Board of Directors of the Association shall elect a Chair, a Vice-Chair and such other officers from the Board of Directors, as the Board of Directors deems appropriate. In electing a Chair and Vice-Chair, the Board of Directors shall encourage the election of individuals who are elected officials of the Parties. Such officers shall serve for a term of one (1) year unless sooner terminated at the pleasure of the Board of Directors. The duties of the Chair and Vice-Chair are as follows:
Officers of the Association shall serve their terms so long as they satisfactorily perform the duties of their office. When an officer is guilty of misconduct, such officer may be removed for cause (shown after notice and a hearing), and by a majority vote of the members of the Association.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Officers The officers of the Company immediately prior to the Effective Time shall be the officers of the Surviving Corporation, until the earlier of their resignation or removal or until their respective successors are duly elected and qualified, as the case may be.

  • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • Union Officers and Committee Members Union Officers and Committee Members shall be entitled to leave their work during working hours in order to carry out their functions under this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the investigation and processing of grievances, attendance at meetings with the Employer, participation in negotiations and arbitration. Permission to leave work during working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on various committees, as referred to in this Agreement, shall be considered as time worked.
