Office Hours. 7.5.1 Each Bargaining Unit Faculty Member shall maintain a sufficient number of regular office hours to meet the reasonable needs of the Member’s students and advisees.
Office Hours. (1) Full-time instructional academic employees shall maintain a posted five (5)-hour minimum office schedule each week. The specific office hours and office hours location shall be determined by the academic employee’s teaching schedule and shall receive the concurrence of the appropriate unit administrator.
Office Hours a. In addition to the workload described in Article 10, Section A, the faculty member will be responsible for ten (10) office hours weekly for assisting students, at times and approved locations, either on or off campus, posted at the faculty member’s office for faculty members with assigned offices. As used in this paragraph, the term “approved locations” may include electronic or other alternate modes of contact. A faculty member who is assigned to work from a remote location shall maintain equivalent interactive availability to students through the internet or other electronic means. If a faculty member’s assignment includes teaching load at an off-campus site, a portion of the faculty member’s office hour obligation can be at the off-campus site.
Office Hours. Faculty members who teach distance education as part of their load shall arrange to be available at reasonable and appropriate times for consulting with and assisting students. Office hours for distance education sections taught as part of contract load may be in proportion to the contract load and may be in an alternative delivery mode consistent with distance education methods. A faculty member who teaches at least one section fully online must schedule, post and maintain at least one weekly office hour online for the duration of the class as part of the five (5) required hours as outlined in 18.3.5(a).
Office Hours. The on campus assignment shall consist of a minimum of 6 posted office hours except special situations (e.g., faculty members assigned to clinicals, which will require less than the minimum of 6 posted office hours).

(Full-time Teaching faculty) Five (5) office hours per week shall be posted and maintained in the faculty members’ offices in accordance with the needs and convenience of the students and community members. Faculty who teach online courses or are on approved leave shall have their office hours reduced by the ratio of 1 hour per 3 LHE of online courses taught.

In addition to the contact hours mentioned above, full-time faculty in the general lecture category shall average five (5) office hours per week at a time convenient to the faculty and the students. Faculty with contact load assignments of more than fifteen (15) but less than twenty (20) hours per week shall maintain an average number of office hours which is the difference between their teaching workload assignments and twenty (20). Faculty with twenty (20) and more contact hour assignments may consider their office hours as included in their teaching load. These hours must be posted by each faculty member's office, convenient for student viewing. For Academic Years 2017-18 & 2018-19, full-time ABE/ESL faculty may opt into holding up to three weekly office hours. Office hours that are in addition to a faculty member’s 20 hour workload will be compensated at the stipend rate. All hours covered in this section shall be posted by each faculty member's office, convenient for student viewing.
Office Hours. All instructors teaching full time will schedule at least five (5) office hours per week at times appropriate for student access. Proportional appointment instructors will be required to provide office hours corresponding to their appointment.
Office Hours. Hours that would have been spent teaching will be required on campus in department chair office hours per a regular schedule approved by the division xxxx. 1 LHE of reassigned time requires 1 regular office hour per week during the primary terms.
