Occupational Skills Training. Subrecipient shall provide occupational skills training which is defined as an organized program of study that provides specific vocational skills that lead to proficiency in performing actual tasks and technical functions required by certain occupational fields at entry, intermediate, or advanced levels. Local areas must give priority consideration to training programs that lead to recognized postsecondary credentials that align with in- demand industry sectors or occupations in the local area. Occupational Skills Training. If a Case Manager identies what he/she believes to be a participant’s need for skills training outside of what a Contractor makes available as part of the contract budget, and which requires tuition or other forms of payment, the situation should be referred back to the Lead Agency for consultation.   • Industrial Accident and Illness Leave shall be granted for illness or injury incurred within the course and scope of an employee's assigned duties.
