Occupational Health and Safety Training. 1. Although employees are basically qualified to perform their duties, the Agency recognizes the need for specific training and update training regarding Occupational Health and Safety to assure employee safety and a minimum loss of man-hours due to preventable injuries.
Occupational Health and Safety Training. Management recognizes the need for training and orientation regarding occupational health and safety, including training on blood borne pathogens, where appropriate, to ensure employee safety and a minimum loss of work time due to injuries. Management will inform all employees of safe working habits and practices appropriate to their job, with special emphasis on orientation of new employees. In addition, supervisors will instruct employees on safe working habits, practices, and procedures in regard to specific job assignments. The Health and Safety Code Handbook (FSH 6709.11), including applicable regional and forest supplements, will be provided to employees upon request.
Occupational Health and Safety Training. 1. Employees will be furnished Basic First-Aid Instruction, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) instruction, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training when the Agency determines that said training is required by their position. Each person who successfully completes a recognized course will receive a certification card.
Occupational Health and Safety Training. 21.2.1 All Committee members may be allowed up to five (5) days leave with pay plus expenses to attend occupational health and safety training courses or seminars. The Committee shall regularly consult the Occupational Health and Safety Branch of the Department of Labour for information with regard to training courses.

Occupational Health and Safety Training. 44.1 An Employee, upon election as a Health and Safety Representative, shall be granted up to five days paid leave, as soon as practicable after election, to undertake an appropriate introductory Health and Safety Representative's course from a training organisation of his or her choice that is approved by the Victorian WorkCover Authority, having regard to course places and the Employer's operations. The Employer shall meet any reasonable costs incurred. Leave under this sub-clause 44.1 must only be granted to an Employee on one occasion and is additional to any other leave granted under this Clause.

Furthermore, the Company shall ensure that each Employee is given additional occupational health and safety training at least once in each calendar year.

To ensure that all EMPLOYEES are knowledgeable of safety practices and procedures in regard to job assignments, the EMPLOYER will continue ongoing training for EMPLOYEES and ensure that manuals and regulations relating to safety and health are available to all EMPLOYEES.
