Occupational First Aid. (a) The Union and the Employer agree that first aid regulations made pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act which are applicable to this employer, shall be fully complied with.
Occupational First Aid. (a) First aid attendants, kits and required equipment will be available in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
Occupational First Aid. The Company will provide on each shift for one person trained to the level of Occupational First Aid. A payment of $10 per week will apply to each employee chosen by the Company to carry out the Occupational First Aid role.
Occupational First Aid. (a) Where the Employer requires an employee to perform first aid duties in addition to the normal requirements of the job, the cost of obtaining and renewing the Occupational First Aid Certificate shall be borne by the Employer, and leave to take the necessary course shall be granted with pay.

Occupational First Aid. LEVEL 2 – LIEU TIME In recognition of the fact that: ▪ the level of responsibility associated with an occupational first aid level 2 certificate is significantly higher than that of a level 1 ticket and, ▪ the training required to obtain the occupational first aid level 2 certificate is substantially more intense than the level 1 training and, ▪ on occasion, occupational first aid level 2 first aid attendants will respond to first aid situations during non‐paid time, the District and the Union agree to the following:

Occupational First Aid. Those persons designated and required by the Employer to have a First Aid Certificate shall receive 55¢ per hour while so designated.

Occupational First Aid. The site has a requirement for one Occupational First Aid representative, whose role will be to assist with the co-ordination of first aid activities on site. If this role is filled by an employee covered by this agreement, the Occupational First Aid allowance will be $31.50 per week as of 4/7/2005 and $33.08 per week as of 3/7/2006. CEAL may appoint and revoke the appointment of a First Aid Attendant at its discretion.
