The hours worked in lieu of the em- ployee’s normal work schedule do not create any entitlement to premium pay (including overtime).
Observance of Religious Holidays. If an employee’s religious beliefs require observance of a holiday not included in the observed holiday schedule, or if the employee desires leave for a reason of faith or conscience or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church, or religious organization, the employee may request the day off using paid leave or leave without pay. The employee is entitled to a maximum of two (2) unpaid religious leave days in a calendar year. Requests must be submitted to the Operations Manager for approval at least two (2) weeks prior to the requested day. Observance of Religious Holidays. Employees desiring to observe major religious holidays of their respective faiths shall deliver their written request for leave to participate in such observances to the President/CEO or her delegatee at least one (1) week before each major religious holiday.
