OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT. 2.1 The expected results of the Project are as follows: The Project’s planned effect(s) on society are (Impact) increased media-freedom and democracy through strengthening ethical and quality journalism and freedom of expression in the Middle East and global South. The planned effects for the target group of the Project are (Outcome) that journalists will have increased their journalistic skills and learned methods like the use of multiple sources. The target group will also have a better understanding of the relationship between freedom of the press, freedom of expression, media independence and democracy. The planned effect is also to strengthen ethical journalism and build capacity within the media community to counter hate-speech and propaganda. The planned main products and/or services of the Project are listed in the results framework (Outputs).

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT. To work together to set up and implement a working TURF – Reserve (or Special Fisheries Management Zone/SFMZ) in ________________, Province of _____________. To establish a TURF – Reserve that will serve as learning site for TURF – Reserve implementation that could pave the way for replication and scaling up within the municipality, the Province of _______________ and even countrywide; To jointly implement training and capacity-building activities for partners and communities in fisheries management and TURF – Reserve Administration; To jointly implement activities social marketing activities and campaigns that will promote behavior change for fishers to manage their fisheries resources and for local leadership to support fisheries management in general; To explore strategies for value chain enhancements that could contribute additionally to the economic well – being of the fishing communities; and To work together in building communities and Local TURF – Reserve Management Bodies that will administer the day-to-day operations of the TURF – Reserve Sites.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT. The objective of this Project is to develop designated portions of the State of Yap into a world-renowned tourist destination, to realize the commercial interests of ETG, to further the financial stability and economy of the State of Yap, and to increase local employment as well as the welfare of the local community in the State of Yap in general, provided that ETG shall take all actions necessary to preserve the local culture and natural environment during the whole term of this Project.
