Nutrient Criteria Sample Clauses

Nutrient Criteria. In order to facilitate the development and adoption of a protective standard that reflects the ecological and biological complexity associated with nutrients, EPA has undertaken an effort to develop numeric nutrient criteria for freshwaters with broad applicability in the Northwest. EPA is leading the effort, in collaboration with Ecology and other state environmental agencies on technical and policy issues. Ecology agrees to participate on the workgroups exploring these issues, and to consider adoption of nutrient criteria after the conclusion of this work.
