Nurse Practitioner (Employer Appointed Position) “Nurse Practitioner” means a Registered Nurse appointed as such to a position approved by the employer and who is authorised by the Board under Section 95 of Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) No 86A. A Nurse Practitioner will have at least three years full-time equivalent experience in an advanced practice role and meets the national competency standards for Nurse Practitioners. A Nurse Practitioner functions autonomously and operates at a level of nursing that uses extended and expanded skills, experience and knowledge assessment, planning, implementation, diagnosis and evaluation of nursing care. Hospitals of Ontario Voluntary Life Insurance Plan The Hospital also agrees to make the Hospitals of Ontario Voluntary Life Insurance Plan (HOOVLIP) available to the nurses subject to the provisions of HOOVLIP at no cost to the Hospital.
Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

Payment of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave (a) If an employee takes a period of paid personal/xxxxx’s leave and meets the notice requirements set out at Clause 44.3 the employer must pay the employee at the employee’s base rate of pay for the employee’s ordinary hours of work in the period.
Non-discrimination Based on National Origin as evidenced by Limited English Proficiency The Contractor agrees to comply with the non-discrimination requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC Section 2000d, et seq., and with the federal guidelines promulgated pursuant to Executive Order 13166 of 2000, which require that contractors and subcontractors receiving federal funds must assure that persons with limited English proficiency can meaningfully access services. To the extent the Contractor provides assistance to individuals with limited English proficiency through the use of oral or written translation or interpretive services in compliance with this requirement, such individuals cannot be required to pay for such services.
Coverage Under the Minnesota Advantage Health Plan From July 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, health coverage under the SEGIP will continue at the level in effect on June 30, 2019. Effective January 1, 2020, Advantage will cover eligible services subject to the copayments, deductibles and coinsurance coverage limits stated. Services provided through Advantage are subject to the managed care procedures and principles, including standards of medical necessity and appropriate practice, of the plan administrators.
