Notification of Vacancies. 17.1.1 Before filling any temporary vacancy expected to exceed three (3) continuous months or any permanent vacancy covered by this Agreement, notice of the vacancy will be posted in a conspicuous place on a bulletin board designated exclusively for that purpose by the University for a minimum of ten (10) working days. Notices will be mailed to employees who are expecting to be away from the University. The request for mailing will be in writing and submitted to Human Resources.
